Minnewaska Lakewalk​

Led by the City of Glenwood, the Minnewaska Lakewalk project will complete the multimodal trail, and it will run from the Sailboat Plaza to the beach. This expanded, multi-use corridor is designed for safety and accessibility, offering a smooth route for walkers, cyclists, and those using mobility devices to commute or recreate.

By following the beautiful Lake Minnewaska shoreline, the trail connects residents to local businesses and amenities while providing a calming backdrop for exercise. The project also adds curbs and gutters in key areas to create a clear, physical barrier between pedestrians and traffic, ensuring a safer experience for all.
