By blending strategic infrastructure improvements with community-led beautification, we are dedicated to preserving Glenwood’s charm while building modern spaces for recreation and connection.
What We're Working On

Minnewaska Lakewalk​
Led by the City of Glenwood, the Minnewaska Lakewalk project will transform the narrow path from Anchor Plaza to the beach into a 1.5-mile, scenic concrete trail. This expanded, multi-use corridor is designed for safety and accessibility, offering a smooth route for walkers, cyclists, and those using mobility devices to commute or recreate.

By following the beautiful Lake Minnewaska shoreline, the trail connects residents to local businesses and amenities while providing a calming backdrop for exercise. The project also adds curbs and gutters in key areas to create a clear, physical barrier between pedestrians and traffic, ensuring a safer experience for all.

What We've Done

Completed four plazas along the Minnewaska Lakewalk. Plazas are seating areas with pavers, benches, landscaping, lighting and a center focal point. The plazas are:

Anchor Plaza: Located at the intersection of Franklin Street and North Lakeshore Drive (across from the hospital).

Princess Minnewaska Plaza: Located near the Bandshell in City Park.

Waterama Plaza: Located in the center of City Park.

Sailboat Plaza: Located at the intersection of Minnesota Avenue and North Lakeshore Drive. This plaza has two sections. One section features the sailboat sculpture, and the other section features the water quality kiosk.

Participated in revitalizing our downtown area with permanent planters, seating areas, new sidewalks and redoing Minnesota Avenue and Franklin Street’s road surfaces through the downtown area.

Worked with the City of Glenwood to install decorative streetlights.

Worked with a local fundraising group on the installation of the Barsness Splashpad.

Worked with a local fundraising group on the installation of pickleball courts at City Park.

Replaced the playground equipment in City Park.

In conjunction with American Solutions for Business completed a public pocket park in the downtown Glenwood area. The park, open for the public to enjoy, is located between the two American Solutions for Business buildings on the north side of East Minnesota Avenue.
